The Korean Friendship Association (KFA or Korea Friendship Association) will host the 2nd Pyongyang Blockchain & Cryptocurrency Conference in February 2020.
Alejandro Cao de Benos, President of the Korean Friendship Association, said in an e-mail sent to Derby Chain on September 10 that he will recruit participants from the Pyongyang Blockchain & Cryptocurrency Conference from February 22 to 29.
In April 2019, the Korea Friendship Association held a Pyongyang Blockchain Conference with overseas blockchain experts and North Korean IT and financial experts.
Blockchain and cryptocurrency conferences will be held at the Pyongyang Institute of Science and Technology on Feb 24th and 25th.
The Korean Friendship Association explained that, as in April 2019, South Korean, Japanese and Israeli nationals cannot participate. The entry fee is 3400 euros (4.5 million won).
The Korean Friendship Association also launched an event promotion site (https://nkcryptocon.com). North Korea insisted on a public relations site that at the event in 2019, North Koreans and foreign blockchain officials shared their knowledge and vision, discussed business opportunities, and signed a contract.
The promotion site launched by North Korea was confirmed to be opened in Denmark in Europe on September 8, 2019.
The Korean Friendship Association said the event would be co-hosted with the North Korean Foreign Cultural Cooperation Committee. It also claimed that the Top 10 cryptocurrency project advisors will participate in the event.
